Full professor at the University of Ghent affiliated with the bachelor and master programme of speech and hearing sciences. Research is focused on the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders in children. One of the outcomes is an ongoing project in Uganda (Kampala), focused on the assessment and treatment of children with a cleft lip and palate. Another important area of interest is the speech and language in children from specific migration communities in Flanders.
