NMR spectrometer infrastructure available to the NMRSTR research group at Ghent University
NMR Spectrometers
The NMRSTR research group has access to 5 spectrometers including:
- 300MHz Avance I Ultrashield - 2002 (Bruker)
- 400MHz Avance II Ultrashield - 2015 (Bruker)
- 500MHz Avance III Ascend - 2011 (Bruker)
- 500MHz Avance III HD - 2011 (Bruker & Oxford)
- 700MHz Avance II Ultrashield - 2005 (Bruker)
Molecular Modeling Equipment
Molecular modeling in AMBER is done using GPU acceleration. Currently the NMRSTR group has 4 dedicated GPU's available for simulations.
As of January 2018 the NMR spectrometers have become the responsibility of the NMR expertise centre.
While two separate entities, both the NMRSTR research group and NMR the expertise centre work in close collaboration with each other.
